About
Tuya Smart IR AC controls infrared air conditioners and generic infrared devices through a Tuya IR hub. It adds climate entities for air conditioners, along with buttons, numbers, selects and sensors, and can also read temperature and humidity sensors. It connects through the Tuya cloud, so a Tuya cloud project with access credentials is needed. An optional Tuya Pulsar stream delivers status changes as they happen, which avoids constant polling and API throttling. Each air conditioner can be configured with temperature limits, supported HVAC, fan and preset modes, linked temperature and humidity sensors, and options to force power on when settings change. Presets pairing a mode, target temperature and fan speed are managed globally, and configuration is done in the UI.

From the README
This integration allows you to control Air Conditioners and generic infrared devices managed via a Tuya Smart IR Hub using the Tuya IoT Cloud Platform. It provides real-time status updates and local-like responsiveness via the Tuya Pulsar messaging service.
💡 Note: This repository is an evolved, fully optimized continuation of the original DavidIlie's project. It features a complete architectural rewrite, shifting entirely away from legacy configuration.yaml setup to modern UI Configuration (Config Flow), and introduces real-time updates via Tuya Pulsar WebSocket stream to avoid unnecessary API throttling.
