About

Xtend Tuya is an integration that adds entities missing from the core Tuya integration in Home Assistant. It can run alongside the core Tuya integration, adding entities to the devices that one provides, or on its own, supplying all devices and entities itself. It adds entities needed by the Energy dashboard and support for locks, which needs extra configuration. Covered platforms include sensors, switches, numbers, selects, covers, climate, cameras, vacuums and valves, plus actions for camera streams, WebRTC, API calls and irrigation timers. Optional Tuya cloud credentials can be entered to bring in more entities, and several Tuya accounts can be added as separate hubs. It needs the vendor's cloud and is set up in the UI.

  • Stop fdm5kw wateringClose a QT-08W valve and end the current run.Fields: Device ID
  • Clear fdm5kw cloud-timer quota lockoutReset the circuit breaker that suppresses Tuya cloud-timer writes after a 60001001 'controllable device pool quota insufficient' error. Call this after upgrading the IoT Core plan or removing devices so the next timer change retries the cloud write. Writes that go straight to the device were never affected by the lockout.
  • Resync fdm5kw timers from cloudReconcile the Home Assistant timer registry for one valve against the Tuya cloud and drop slots the cloud no longer knows about. Disabled leftovers are dropped without a device write; an enabled orphan slot, which would otherwise water unattended, is cleared with a device write that costs one controllable-device unit. Returns the reconcile counts.Fields: Device ID
