About

Tuya is a built-in Home Assistant integration that connects Tuya cloud devices to Home Assistant. It relies on the vendor's cloud and is set up in the interface, using either a user code or a QR code. It covers many device types, including alarms, cameras, climate devices, covers, fans, humidifiers, lights, sirens, vacuums and valves. Sensors, binary sensors, switches, numbers and selects expose readings and settings such as battery state, air quality, child lock, alarm duration and charging mode. Buttons handle tasks like manual clean and resetting filters or brushes, and events report doorbell messages and pictures. Two actions get and set meal plan data on a Tuya feeder, and Home Assistant can discover the devices on the network.
