About
Broadlink is a built-in integration that connects Broadlink devices to Home Assistant over the local network. It exposes climate, light, remote, select, sensor, switch and time entities, depending on the device. The remote entities cover the infrared emitter and the radio frequency transmitter found on some models. Sensors report readings such as illuminance, noise, overload and total consumption, and a select entity sets the day of the week. Home Assistant can discover these devices on the network and offer to add them, and setup is done in the interface with a host address and an optional unlock step.
