About

Philips Air+ is an integration for Philips Air+ cloud-only fans, verified against the CX3550/01 stand fan. These fans have no local API, so the integration talks to the vendor's cloud and signs in with the Philips account email and a code sent by email. It adds a fan entity for each bound device, with controls for power, speed, sleep and natural presets, and oscillation. Number, switch and sensor entities cover the timer duration, key beep, timer on and off, timer remaining, signal strength, uptime and free memory. Setup runs in the UI and asks for a Philips Air+ app APK file, from which a signing value is extracted locally and kept only in the Home Assistant instance. A diagnostics download is available for bug reports.

From the README

A Home Assistant custom integration for Philips Air+ cloud-only fans, verified against the CX3550/01 ("Series 3000" stand fan, Air Matters app). These fans have no local API — they're controlled via an AWS IoT device shadow over MQTT-over-WSS, behind Philips' client-signed air-matters/gaoda auth chain.

Not the upstream Versuni/HomeID integration (e.g. ShorMeneses/philips-airplus-homeassistant). That one returns "no devices found" for the CX3550 — it targets a different backend (the AC air-purifier line). This integration speaks the fan's actual cloud protocol.
