About
Daikin AC is a built-in integration that connects Daikin air conditioners to Home Assistant over the local network. It adds a climate entity for controlling each unit, along with sensors and a power switch. The sensors report inside and outside temperature, target humidity, compressor frequency, and estimated compressor power use. Energy readings cover the compressor and the whole unit for today, plus cooling and heating use over the last hour. Home Assistant can discover units on the network and offer to add them, and setup is done in the interface with a host, plus an API key and password where needed. A diagnostics file can be downloaded to attach to a bug report.
