About
Midea AC LAN controls Midea M-Smart appliances over the local network instead of through the cloud. It discovers appliances and adds them through the Home Assistant interface, covering types such as air conditioners, fans, water heaters and washers. Appliances appear as climate, fan, humidifier, light, lock, water heater, switch, sensor and other entities, depending on the appliance type. A long-lived TCP connection keeps appliance status synchronized in real time. Options allow extra sensors and controls, a custom refresh interval, and an optional Midea cloud account for usage statistics sensors. Actions can set a device attribute or send a custom command, and a diagnostics download is available for bug reports. Retrieving an appliance token requires a personal Meiju or SmartHome account with the appliance bound to it.
