Midea for Home Assistant (built-in integration)

About

Midea is a built-in integration that controls Midea appliances over the local network. It adds climate, fan, humidifier, light and water heater entities, along with sensors, switches, numbers, selects, buttons and a time entity. Exposed items include thermostat zones, bathing and heating water heaters, child lock, night mode, fan speed and water hardness. Compressor readings such as current, frequency, power and temperature appear among the sensors. Home Assistant can discover devices on the network, and setup runs in the UI with either a Midea cloud login or manual device details. Connection settings can be changed later without removing the entry, and a diagnostics file can be downloaded for bug reports.
