About

Daikin Onecta is an integration for Daikin devices that are supported by the Daikin Onecta app. It talks to the Daikin cloud through the Onecta API, so a developer account and application credentials from Daikin are needed, and it is set up in the UI with a sign-in on the vendor's page. It provides climate, fan, water heater, switch, select, update, button, sensor and binary sensor platforms, including energy consumption sensors, status flags, a schedule select and a firmware update. Options let the polling be split into high and low frequency periods, each with its own start time and update interval, to reduce requests to Daikin. Another option ignores data refreshes for a set number of seconds after a command, and fan speed aliases compatible with HomeKit can be exposed. Repair notices appear when the daily or minute rate limit is reached, and the current poll limits are shown under system health.
