About
Daikin Smart AC is an integration that controls Brazilian Daikin Smart AC air conditioners from Home Assistant. It adds a climate entity that handles HVAC mode (off, heat, cool, dry, fan only), fan speed and the eco and boost presets, and it shows the current room temperature. Communication with the unit stays local, and the integration polls the device every 10 seconds by default, with a custom polling interval available. Home Assistant can discover the device on the network, and setup is done in the UI with a device key, a device name and optionally an IP address. The device key comes from the Daikin Smart AC mobile app. The Coanda preset is not supported.
