About

Philips Home Access connects a Philips Home Access Wi-Fi smart lock to Home Assistant for control and monitoring. It adds a lock entity that locks and unlocks, with transition states confirmed by realtime events or a quick follow-up poll. It also provides a door open or closed sensor from the magnetic contact, and battery readings for the lock and for a fitted door sensor. Locks that cannot be operated remotely can be marked as state-only in the options, and then appear as a read-only sensor instead of a lock. It talks to the vendor's cloud, with realtime updates available only on the North American data center, and every lock on the account is discovered as its own device. Setup happens in the UI with the account email, password and phone country code, and a dedicated shared account is recommended because the cloud allows one session per account.

From the README

Control and monitor a Philips Home Access Wi-Fi smart lock from Home Assistant.

This integration talks to the official cloud, but without the need to involve the official app. Your lock need connection to the internet (directly or via Wifi gateway).

  • Lock — lock/unlock, with locking… / unlocking… transitions (confirmed by realtime events, or by a quick follow-up poll where there are none).
  • State-only locks — some locks can't be locked or unlocked remotely (the Philips app shows no buttons for them). Mark those under Settings → Devices & services → Philips Home Access → Configure, and…
  • Door binary sensor — open/closed, from the magnetic contact.
  • Battery — the lock's, plus the door sensor's own where one is fitted.
  • Real-time updates over the cloud WebSocket (North American data center only): app, keypad and manual operations appear within seconds, with periodic poll as backup.
  • Auto-discovery — every lock on the account becomes its own device. A paired door sensor is treated as an accessory of its lock.
  • Locks behind a Wi-Fi gateway (Bluetooth locks) — each lock is a device under its gateway, and commands go through the gateway. This is unverified: I don't own one. If you do, please report how it…
  • Reauth — reauthenticates as needed, prompts for the password if it changes.
