About

Ring is a built-in integration that connects Ring doorbells and cameras to Home Assistant through the vendor's cloud. It adds binary sensors, buttons, cameras, events, lights, numbers, sensors, sirens and switches. Cameras cover the last recording and a live view, and events report doorbell dings and intercom unlocks. Number entities and sensors handle volume settings for the doorbell, microphone and voice, and sensors also report last motion, last ding and Wi-Fi signal category. Switches control the in-home chime, motion detection and the siren, and a button opens the door. Setup happens in the UI with a Ring account username and password, plus a verification code when two-factor authentication is on.
