Ring Smoke Detectors

Ring Smoke Detectors is a HACS integration for Kidde/Ring WiFi smoke and CO detectors that work without a hub. It targets the models that the standard Ring integration does not support, by opening its own WebSocket connections to Ring's cloud instead of relying on a Ring Alarm hub or Beams bridge. Each detector appears with binary sensors for smoke and, on CO models, carbon monoxide, plus a battery sensor and a CO level sensor in parts per million. Because these detectors report a battery state rather than a percentage, the level is mapped from that state. An event entity fires when the physical test button on the detector is pressed. Entities turn unavailable when the connection for their location drops, so an outage is not read as no smoke. Setup is done in the UI with the Ring account login and a verification code if asked.
