About

Philips Hue is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a Hue bridge over the local network. It adds lights, scenes, selects, sensors, switches, binary sensors and events from the bridge. Switches cover the light sensor, the motion sensor and MotionAware, and a sensor reports Zigbee connectivity. Two actions activate Hue scenes: one for a scene stored in the Hue hub, and another that gives more control over the options. Options allow Hue groups and Hue scenes, let unreachable bulbs report their state correctly, and can ignore connectivity status for chosen devices. Home Assistant can discover the bridge on the network, and setup is done in the UI by picking it or entering its host manually.
