About
IKEA TRÅDFRI is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to an IKEA Trådfri gateway. It works locally and adds covers, fans, lights, sensors and switches from the gateway to Home Assistant. The sensors include air quality and filter time left. Home Assistant can spot the gateway on the network and offer to add it. Setup is done in the interface by entering the gateway host and its security code. A diagnostics file can be downloaded to attach to a bug report.
