About
Xiaomi Mi Smart WiFi Socket is a custom integration that controls Xiaomi smart plugs and power strips as switches. It communicates with the devices locally and is set up in the YAML configuration file using the device address and an API token. Supported devices include the Smart WiFi Socket, Chuangmi Plug V1 and V3, the Smart Power Strip, and the Air Conditioning Companion V3 socket. Depending on the model, it offers power switching, USB switching, a Wifi LED toggle, and attributes such as temperature, current and load power. Extra services set the Wifi LED state on supported models, and the power price and power mode on the Power Strip. A model option can be set to skip automatic detection, which suits devices that are not always reachable.

Install it from the Marketplace and restart Home Assistant. It is then set up in configuration.yaml.

This is a custom component for Home Assistant to integrate the Xiaomi Smart WiFi Socket (called Plug), Xiaomi Smart Power Strip and Xiaomi Chuangmi Plug V1.
Please follow the instructions on Retrieving the Access Token to get the API token to use in the configuration.yaml file.
