About

FRITZ!SmartHome is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to smart home devices managed by a FRITZ!Box. It works locally and adds binary sensors, buttons, climate devices, covers, lights, sensors and switches. Binary sensors report states such as alarm, holiday mode, summer mode, open window detected and button lock. Sensors expose comfort and eco temperatures along with the current and next scheduled preset, temperature and change time. Home Assistant can detect the FRITZ!Box on the network and offer to add it, and setup happens in the UI with a username, password and URL, plus an option to verify the SSL certificate. A diagnostics file can be downloaded to attach to a bug report.
