About

Meross Cloud IoT is a custom integration that connects Meross devices to Home Assistant through the Meross IoT library. It relies on the vendor's cloud and is added through the Home Assistant interface, with a login step asking for email, password, an HTTP API endpoint and an MQTT address. The login step also lets certificate validation for MQTT be skipped. Devices appear as climate, cover, humidifier, light, sensor and switch entities, covering bulbs, switches, garage door openers and smart valves or thermostats. An options step allows a custom HTTP user agent header for API polling and adjusts device communication settings. The README also mentions an experimental local-only addon, meant for setups that hit cloud rate limits or run off-grid.
