About
Belkin WeMo is a built-in integration that controls Wemo devices over the local network. It adds binary sensors, fans, lights, sensors and switches to Home Assistant. Home Assistant can detect the devices on the network and offer to add them, and setup is done in the UI. For humidifiers, one action sets the target humidity and another resets the filter lifetime to 100%. A device trigger fires when a Wemo button is pressed for 2 seconds, so the devices can start automations directly. Options cover registering for long-press events and subscribing to local push updates from devices.
