About

Meross LAN is a Home Assistant integration that controls Meross devices, mostly over the local network. It talks to devices through direct HTTP in the LAN, through the local MQTT broker configured in Home Assistant, or through Meross cloud MQTT brokers. Devices can stay paired with the Meross app and cloud and be polled over HTTP, or be bound to a private MQTT broker to run fully locally. It provides many platforms, including lights, switches, climate, covers, fans, media, calendars and update entities. Home Assistant can discover devices on the network, and a Meross cloud profile can be added so device keys are fetched from the account. Options cover polling period, connection protocol, time zone and diagnostics logging, and setup is done in the UI.
