About

D-Link Wi-Fi Smart Plugs is a built-in integration that controls D-Link smart plugs from Home Assistant. It adds the plugs as switches and talks to them locally over the network. Home Assistant can detect a compatible plug on the network and offer to add it. Setup happens in the UI, asking for the device host, a username and a password, which defaults to the PIN code on the back of the plug. An option for the legacy protocol is available for devices that need it.
