About
Bosch thermostat is a custom integration that connects Bosch heating thermostats and controllers to Home Assistant. It adds climate, water heater, switch, select, number and binary sensor entities, and sensors are disabled by default until they are enabled on the device page. Two connection protocols are supported: HTTP talks to the device locally and is available only for IVT devices, while XMPP goes through the Bosch cloud. Supported hardware includes IVT models such as RC300, RC200 and RC35, Nefit-type controllers such as the Junkers CT100, and Easycontrol devices such as the Bosch CT200. Options cover the scan interval, a newer statistics API and an optimistic mode for setting the Easycontrol operation mode. Setup is done in the UI, and the device can also be discovered on the network.
