About

LG Netcast is a built-in Home Assistant integration for controlling LG Netcast devices locally. It adds media player and remote entities for the device. Setup happens in the UI, where the host name or IP address of the LG Netcast device is entered and an access token is used to authorize it. The integration also provides a device trigger that fires when the device is requested to turn on, so automations can start from it directly. Nothing extra needs to be installed, since it ships with Home Assistant.
