About
Spotify is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to the Spotify cloud service. It adds a media platform, so Spotify playback can be handled as a media entity in Home Assistant. Sign-in goes through the vendor's own sign-in page, using application credentials that are chosen as the authentication method during setup in the UI. A repair notice states that the integration requires a Spotify Premium account. It also reports its status in system health and offers a diagnostics download for bug reports.
