About
Xbox is a built-in Home Assistant integration that connects to Microsoft's Xbox cloud service. It adds binary sensors for Game Pass subscription and in-game status, plus sensors for friends, followers, gamerscore, party details, last online time, current game and status. It also provides image entities such as avatar, gamerpic, box art, poster and now playing artwork, along with media and remote platforms. Sign-in goes through the vendor's own page using application credentials, and setup is done in the UI. Home Assistant can discover it on the network, add new devices without reconfiguring, and remove devices that are gone. A diagnostics download and repair notices are available as well.
