About

Microsoft 365 - Teams is an integration that brings Teams presence and chat messages into Home Assistant. It provides sensors for a user's Teams status and for the latest chat message, and neither works with personal accounts. Actions let automations send a chat message to a specified chat, update the user's Teams status, or update the user's preferred Teams status. Setup happens in the UI with a client ID and client secret, with an alternate authentication method available and an optional API country choice. The update interval can be changed in the options, and the integration relies on the vendor's cloud. A diagnostics file can be downloaded to attach to bug reports.
