About
Google Calendar is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to calendars in a Google account. It adds calendar entities, including ones for birthdays and working location. Two actions let automations add a new event to a Google calendar. Access runs through the vendor's own sign-in page with application credentials, and the cloud connection is required. Setup happens in the UI, and an options step covers the access Home Assistant has to the calendar. A diagnostics file can be downloaded to attach to a bug report.
