About
Google Weather is a built-in integration that brings weather data from Google's cloud into Home Assistant. It provides a weather entity along with sensors for apparent temperature, cloud coverage, dew point, heat index, precipitation probability, thunderstorm probability, UV index, visibility, weather condition, wind chill and wind gust speed. Setup happens in the UI and asks for an API key tied to a Google billing account, a location with its coordinates, a location name and an HTTP referrer. Connection settings can be changed later without removing the integration. A diagnostics file can be downloaded to attach to a bug report.
