About
Apple TV is a built-in Home Assistant integration that connects to Apple TV devices over the local network. It provides media player and remote control entities, plus a binary sensor that reports keyboard focus. Actions let automations append, clear or set the text in whichever text input field is currently focused on the Apple TV. Home Assistant can discover the device on the network and offer to add it, and setup runs in the interface with pairing by PIN code. An option controls whether the device is turned on when Home Assistant starts.
