About

iCloud3 is an Apple device tracker that follows iPhones, iPads and Apple Watches through an iCloud account. It requests location data from Apple's iCloud Location Services and reads Home Assistant Mobile App sensors and triggers to work out battery level, location, distance, travel time and arrival at home. It adds presence and sensor entities, plus an event log that records location changes, update results, errors and startup information. A dashboard builder creates dashboards with tracking results, battery information and the event log, and these can be edited afterward in the Home Assistant dashboard editor. Actions can restart the integration, play an alert tone on a device, show a message on it, or send a lost device message with a phone number. Setup runs in the interface and includes Apple account sign-in with a verification code or security key.
