About
SmartThinQ LGE Sensors is a custom integration that monitors and controls LG ThinQ appliances from Home Assistant. It relies on the vendor's cloud and is built on the WideQ project's ThinQ API approach. Supported devices include air conditioners, air purifiers, dehumidifiers, dishwashers, dryers, fans, hoods, microwaves, ranges, refrigerators, stylers, washers, tower washer-dryers and water heaters. Entities appear across many platforms, including sensors, climate, fans, humidifiers, lights, switches, water heaters, numbers, selects, buttons and binary sensors. Setup is done in the UI with an LG account, country and language codes, and options for the authentication method; a scan interval can be changed afterward. The account must be an independent LG account, since logins through social network accounts do not work, and some device statuses may not be detected on every model.
