About
Meater is a built-in Home Assistant integration that reads data from Meater cooking thermometers through the vendor's cloud. It adds sensors for internal temperature, ambient temperature, peak temperature, target temperature, cook state, time elapsed and time remaining. Setup happens in the user interface and asks for the Meater Cloud username, usually an email address, and a password. Because it relies on the cloud service, an internet connection and a Meater Cloud account are needed. A diagnostics download is available to attach to bug reports.
