About

LG ThinQ is a built-in integration that connects LG ThinQ appliances to Home Assistant through the vendor's cloud. It exposes appliance data and controls across many entity types, including climate, fans, humidifiers, vacuums, water heaters, sensors, switches, numbers and selects. Examples include power and operating mode, current cycle and status, temperature, battery, schedule and delayed start timers, and target humidity. Error and notification events are also provided, so automations can react to appliance messages. Setup happens in the UI with a personal access token and a country selection, and Home Assistant can discover the devices on the network and offer to add them. Repair notices can appear in Settings under Repairs, for example for the deprecated fan speed number entity.
