About
FoxESSCloud API is an integration that reads data from FoxESS photovoltaic inverters through the FoxESS cloud. It adds sensors to Home Assistant, including daily grid consumption, feed-in, solar generation and battery charge and discharge energy for systems with a battery. These sensors can be assigned in the Home Assistant energy dashboard. It uses a subset of the FoxESSCloud API, which limits each API key to a fixed number of calls per day, so data refreshes every 3 minutes. Setup happens in the UI, where an API key and the inverter serial number are entered.
