About

SolarEdge is a built-in integration that reads solar site data from the SolarEdge cloud into Home Assistant. It adds sensors for production and consumption, including current power, energy today, this month and this year, exported energy and consumed energy. Battery and storage sensors cover charge and discharge energy today and state of charge, and there are also sensors for gateways. Setup happens in the UI with the site ID and an optional name for the installation. An API key supplies general site sensors, while a username and password are optional and give detailed module-level production statistics. Home Assistant can also spot the system on the network and offer to add it.
