About
Solaredge Forecast is a custom integration that forecasts total solar energy generation over a chosen period. It uses historical production data from SolarEdge, retrieved through the vendor's cloud API with a site ID and an account key. The forecast period is defined by a start day and month and an end day and month, and an optional date for when solar production began can be added. The start and end dates move to the previous, current or next year depending on how they compare with today's date. A minimum of one year of historical data is needed for each month within the chosen period. The integration adds sensors and is set up in the UI, and the same settings can be changed later in its options.
