About

HomeWizard is a built-in Home Assistant integration that connects to HomeWizard devices over the local network. It adds buttons, numbers, selects, sensors and switches, covering readings such as water usage, average demand, production power, tariff, battery group power and smart meter model. Controls include status light brightness, a charging strategy for the battery group, a cloud connection switch and a switch lock. Home Assistant can spot the device on the network and offer to add it, and setup in the UI asks for the device IP address. Connection settings can be changed later without removing the entry, and a repair notice appears when the cloud connection must be enabled for the smart charging strategy.
