About

Octopus Energy is an unofficial integration that brings Octopus Energy account data into Home Assistant. It is built against the Octopus Energy UK API and has not been tested for other countries. It supports electricity and gas meters, covering consumption data and rate information, and it relies on the vendor's cloud. Entities span many platforms, including sensors, binary sensors, calendars, climate, events, switches and water heaters. Account options cover gas calorific value, preferring direct debit rates, Home Mini and Home Pro refresh settings, price caps and intelligent tariff handling. Cost trackers and tariff comparisons can be added as extra entries, and it is set up in the UI.
