About

Solarman is an integration that connects Home Assistant to Solarman Stick Logger devices on inverters over the local network. It communicates locally with the logger using a chosen transport protocol and a Modbus slave ID, with the port defaulting to 8899. An inverter profile file defines the parameters that are read, and settings cover the number of MPPTs, phases and battery packs, plus lithium-ion battery voltage and expected life cycle rating. It provides binary sensors, buttons, date and time entities, numbers, selects, sensors, switches and times. Daily sensors include battery charge and discharge, energy export and import, generation, load consumption and losses. Home Assistant can discover the device on the network and offer to add it, and setup is done in the UI.
