About

HomeWizard Cloud Watermeter reads water consumption from the HomeWizard Cloud for battery-powered watermeters. It targets the case where the local API is disabled on battery power, so the standard local integration cannot be used. Devices linked to the account are discovered automatically, and the sensors report consumption along with online status and Wi-Fi signal strength. Historical data arrives at five-minute resolution and is written into long term statistics, so the readings work with the Energy dashboard's water consumption section. Each sync also fetches recent history to fill gaps left by an unreliable Wi-Fi connection. Setup happens in the UI, where an email and password are entered and a home is chosen.
