About
Intex Spa is a Marketplace integration that connects Home Assistant to Intex spas over the local network. It works with spas made for the Intex Link - Spa Management app, and a spa is compatible when the code engraved on its control panel does not contain the letters TY. It adds climate, sensor and switch entities, and entities that a given spa does not provide can be disabled manually. It does not rely on the cloud, and the spa only needs to be paired with wifi. The climate entity always reports heating when the spa is set to heat, so its heating action should not be used to calculate energy consumption. Setup is done in the interface by entering a device name and the host of the spa.
