About

Huawei Solar is an integration that reads and controls Huawei Solar inverters over Modbus, working locally. It connects either through a serial link to the inverter's RS485 pins or over the network, and setup runs in the UI. It adds sensors for energy, yield, line voltages, phase currents, active power and frequency, plus switches, numbers and selects for inverter and battery settings. Optional elevated permissions give access to optimizer data and let settings be changed from Home Assistant. Actions cover forcible battery charge and discharge by time or to a state of charge level, and limiting power fed to the grid by wattage or percentage. Time of use and fixed charge periods can also be set, and the inverter is polled every 30 seconds by default.
