About
Google Maps is a custom integration that tracks the locations people share with a Google account. It creates device tracker entities for everyone who has shared their location with the configured account, and can optionally add a tracker for the account itself. It also provides an online binary sensor. Authentication relies on a cookies file uploaded for each Google account, and the integration connects to Google's cloud. Options cover a maximum GPS accuracy in meters, which sets when a location counts as inaccurate, and an update period. Repair notices appear for duplicate email addresses and for cookies that are expiring soon. Existing YAML entries from the legacy built-in setup must be removed first, and it is added through the UI.

IMPORTANT: Before using this custom integration, all "legacy" YAML configuration entries and associated entries in known_devices.yaml must be removed.
