About

SMA Devices Plus is a custom integration that connects SMA inverters, battery inverters and energy meters to Home Assistant. It talks to the devices locally and adds sensors for their measured values. Besides Webconnect devices, which the built-in SMA integration covers, it also supports ennexOS-based devices, devices with a Speedwire interface, and energy meters including the Sunny Home Manager 2. On ennexOS devices the values are split between the device itself and the whole plant, and may also mirror energy meter data. The integration also provides actions to set a parameter, read the permitted settings for a parameter and run a device discovery, plus a configurable update interval and a diagnostics download. It is set up in the UI, and some entities may need to be enabled manually.

The SMA integration currently available in Home Assistant only supports devices that use the Webconnect standard.
This integration supports almost all SMA devices like inverters, hybrid inverters, battery inverters and energy meters.
