About
SMA EV Charger is an integration that connects SMA EV Charger and eCharger wallboxes to Home Assistant. It communicates locally with the device and is set up in the UI with the host address, username and password, plus options for using and verifying an SSL certificate. It provides sensors for charging session energy, charging session status, station power, meter reading, grid frequency, and grid voltage and current on each phase. Controls include selects for the operating mode of a charge session and the brightness of the lights, numbers for AC current limit, active power limit and session duration or energy, and switches for manual charging release and disconnection after full charge. A date and time entity shows the end of the charging process, and an action restarts the device. Access to all entities requires an installer or administrator account from the charger's web interface.
