About

UniFi Access is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a Ubiquiti UniFi Access controller. It communicates locally and is set up in the UI with the controller host, an API token from the UniFi Access settings, and an option to verify the SSL certificate. For doors it provides an unlock button, a thumbnail image, and access and doorbell events. A select and two sensors cover the lock rule and its end time, and an action applies a temporary lock rule to a door. Switches control evacuation and lockdown modes. New devices appear without repeating setup, devices that are gone are removed automatically, and connection settings can be changed later without removing the integration.
