About
Sony PlayStation 4 is a built-in integration that connects a PlayStation 4 console to Home Assistant. It communicates with the console locally and adds a media player for it. A send command action emulates button presses on the console. Setup is done in the interface, using a PSN token, a PIN code from the console's mobile app connection settings, a region, and an IP address that can be left blank for auto-discovery. Nothing extra needs to be installed, since it ships with Home Assistant.
