About
Home Assistant Google Drive Backup is an app that manages backups between Home Assistant and Google Drive. It creates backups on a schedule set by the number of days between backups and an optional time of day, then uploads them to Google Drive. Separate limits control how many backups stay in Home Assistant and in Google Drive before old ones are deleted. Other options include a backup password, custom backup names, partial backups that exclude chosen folders or add-ons, and a generational scheme that keeps older backups longer. Backups can be deleted from Home Assistant right after upload, and a specific Google Drive folder can be chosen for storage. It has its own page in the sidebar, runs on Home Assistant OS, and settings can be changed in that interface or in yaml.
