About
Terminal & SSH is an app that allows logging in remotely to Home Assistant using SSH. It adds a web terminal that opens in the browser and an SSH server for connecting with a standard SSH client. The web terminal can be given its own entry in the sidebar, and it comes bundled with the Home Assistant command line tool. Remote SSH access is off by default, and enabling it takes either a password or public keys plus a chosen TCP port; key login is recommended over a password. Further options cover extra software packages for the app container and whether TCP port forwarding is permitted. It requires Home Assistant OS and runs on aarch64 and amd64.
