About

File editor is an app that provides a simple browser-based editor for files in Home Assistant. It opens as its own page in the sidebar and works only through Ingress, with no direct access. The app can read and control Home Assistant through its API, and it runs on Home Assistant OS on aarch64 or amd64 hardware. Settings let directories be listed before files, hide files and folders by pattern, and limit access to the Home Assistant config folder. It can also set up git for directories that support it and use SSH private keys to reach remote git repositories. The log level can be raised to warning so that only problems are logged.
